Firefighters from Scott City, Chaffee and Scott County responded to a fire at 353 Route M around 11 p.m. and found the home's garage engulfed with the fire moving to the attic, according to a news release. The first police officer on the scene reported that the fire had started in a truck inside the garage, according to the release.
