Action taken during Monday's Scott City Council meeting:
* An ordinance was passed 8-0 changing rules for manufactured/mobile homes inside the city limits in trailer parks and elsewhere. The manufactured/mobile homes can now be no older than 10 years old to be installed in the city limits. Previously, the homes could be no more than three years old.
* The city council approved 8-0 the rezoning of lots 8-13 in the Northfield subdivision from R-1 to R-2, allowing for the construction of multi-family dwellings. Mayor Tim Porch, one of the subdivision owners, did not preside over the vote due to a conflict of interest. Owners have planned placing eight houses and six duplexes in the subdivision.
