Scooter driver leads police on slow-speed chase

CARSON CITY, Nev. -- A suspected drug dealer tried to evade authorities on a scooter. The low-speed pursuit began when Carson City deputies tried to pull over Joseph Scurti on his TaoTao scooter. Deputies say they ran the scooter's registration and learned Scurti had two felony warrants. Authorities say he drove down U.S. 50, then onto a sidewalk, hitting a patrol vehicle.
