ST. LOUIS Earth's nearest neighbor in space turns tour guide during the new children's show, "I See the Moon," in the McDonnell Star Theater at the St. Louis Science Center in Forest Park.

The show began last week and will run through Sept. 2. Show times are weekdays, 1 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.; and Sundays 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Admission is $2.75; children under five are admitted free.

In the 35-minute planetarium show, a campout under the stars turns into an unexpected adventure for Amy and Jason, when the youngsters are magically transported to the moon.

Along the way, they learn about the sun, planets and constellations, and even get a special tour of the moon from the Man in the Moon.

"I See the Moon" combines fantasy with fundamentals, introducing youngsters to the planetarium's unique environment and providing an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

An original Science Center production, "I See the Moon" was developed as a school show for grades one through three.
