Students invited to the TIP ceremony earned scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Assessment (ACT) higher than 65 percent of college-bound high school seniors. Of the almost 62,000 students who participated in this year's talent search, only 2,173 qualified for this honor.

He is the son of Ben and Linda Belvin.
