It's time to gather up those Christmas wish lists and hang the stockings because Santa Claus is coming to town.
But before Christmas Eve rolls around, St. Nick will be making a practice run through Marble Hill to gather up the last minute lists of boys and girls in Bollinger County.
At 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, Santa will be welcomed to Marble Hill not on a sled with his eight reindeer, as he does at Christmas, but with an escort from the Bollinger County Civil Defense.
After a pass through town, Santa will settle at Railroad Park, across from Security Bank.
The annual event is sponsored by the city of Marble Hill.
All boys and girls are welcome to come and see Santa and receive a free treat from the jolly elf.
In case of rain, Santa will be at the firehouse on Highway 34 West, near the City Park.
