So a training course for registered nurses to become sexual assault nurse examiners will be held June 12-16 at the center, 63 Doctors Park.

The examiners perform physical examinations of women who allegedly have been sexually assaulted, Blevins said. The training will cover forensic examinations, interviewing and legal and medical aspects.
