SAFETY AWARDS

Twelve drivers for Commercial Transport Terminal in Cape Girardeau received safe-driving awards during the firm's Safety Awards banquet held at Belleville, Ill., recently.

The local terminal received the "Terminal of the Year" award, based on the number of drivers qualifying for awards.

Drivers receiving awards included Don Hensley, Roger Bryant, Randy Whitworth, Bruce Vick, Johnny Sims, Jim Klund, Eddie Farrow, Bernard Elfrank, David Rice, Allen Skidmore , Kerry Heilman and Gary Foote.

Charlie Daniels, terminal manager of the Cape operation, accepted the "Terminal of the Year' plaque for the local branch.
