Route UU in New Madrid, Stoddard counties closed for pipe replacement

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Route UU in New Madrid and Stoddard counties will be closed Monday and Tuesday as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. This section of road is between Route D in New Madrid County and County Road 792 in Stoddard County. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
