Route EE bridge closing for improvements

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to replace the Route EE bridge over the Little River Drainage Ditch No. 1 in Scott County is expected to begin May 9, weather permitting. The road will remain closed from Highway 25 to Highway 77 as construction continues. Completion is anticipated in mid-July. Signs and warning devices will be in place, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
