Route E to be closed for pipe replacement

Route E in Cape Girardeau County will be closed while Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the road. The first section of road is between Route D and County Road 451. Weather permitting, the work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 2. The second section of road is between Route D and County Road 427. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3. The third section of road is between northbound outer road 55 (County Road 433 and County Road 427). The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4.
