The work is part of the project to replace the Diversion Channel Bridge and make additional improvements to the I-55/Route AB interchange.

Pavement construction will be ongoing this week to widen Route AB to three lanes and add shoulders from just west of the interchange to just east of the interchange.

Traffic will be controlled by flagmen to keep it moving.
