Cape Girardeau County Rotarians and their guests will join Friday night to celebrate the 100th birthday of Rush H. Limbaugh, practicing Cape Girardeau attorney.
Limbaugh's birthday is on Sept. 27. He will be in Kansas City at that time attending the meeting of the Missouri Bar Association, which also will honor him.
The Cape Girardeau Rotary Club, of which Limbaugh is a member and past president, will host the dinner meeting at the Drury Lodge at 7 p.m. Other clubs participating in the intercity meeting are the Rotary Club of Jackson, the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau West and the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau County.
Limbaugh will be the principal speaker, reflecting on "The First 100 Years." John T. Seesing, president of the host club, will preside.
