Rodney Carrington camp postpones concert to October

The Rodney Carrington concert scheduled for Friday at the Show Me Center has been postponed because of personal reasons, according to press contacts with the performer.

Carrington, a comedian, singer and actor, called off or rescheduled shows slated for the next few weeks, including the Cape Girardeau appearance. The show, originally set for 7 p.m. Friday, has been rescheduled to Oct. 23.

Tickets for Friday's show will be valid for the October show. People who want a refund will need to return their ticket to the point of purchase.

Shannon Buford, marketing director at the Show Me Center, said anyone who purchased a ticket at the center can get a refund starting at 9 a.m. Thursday.
