RODEO NAMES ENTERTAINMENT

SIKESTON -- Country music stars Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw will headline the 1993 Bootheel Rodeo in August.

The announcement was made Thursday by the Sikeston Jaycees, which sponsor the rodeo.

Lawrence, Billboard's Best New Male Vocalist in 1992, will perform Aug. 11; Chesnutt, known for the hits "Blame It on Texas" and "Bubba Shot the Jukebox," will be featured Aug. 12; Morgan, whose recent "What Part of No" reached No. 1, will headline Aug. 13; and Kershaw, a raging Cajun extrovert who recently scored with "Don't Go Near the Water," will perform Aug. 14.

"We think the public will agree this is one of the most impressive line-ups we've had in years," said Jeff Sutton, entertainment chairman.
