Rod Jetton received a traffic summons in Butler County in November and is set to appear for his arraignment Jan. 6 on accusations of careless and imprudent driving that resulted in an accident. The Jan. 6 hearing is set for 9 a.m. before 36th Circuit Court Judge John H. Bloodworth.

Jetton was charged in Scott County in November 2009 for allegedly assaulting Mary Elizabeth Lowe, a Sikeston, Mo., woman who accused him of beating her during consensual intercourse at her home.

A change of venue was granted in the case and transferred to New Madrid County in April.
