ROBERT E. FOSS

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Graveside service for Robert E. Foss of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of Mounds, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Spencer Heights Cemetery, with the Rev. Phillip Parker officiating.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday.

He was born July 27, 1908, in East Cairo, Ky., son of Frank and Mary Gillespie Foss. His wife, Anna, died in 1993.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald and Clarence Foss of Fort Pierce; four daughters, Carolene Lane, Sharon Rain and Helen Bakker of Fort Pierce, Diana Ray of Fayetteville, N.C.; 17 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
