Robber takes money from Cape Girardeau convenience store at gunpoint
A Cape Girardeau convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night and police are seeking an unknown suspect. Police spokesman Darin Hickey said a man wearing a black hoodie and ski mask and baggy pants entered Amerimart at 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday displaying a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect left northward from the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one else was in the store at the time...
