ROAD WORK THIS WEEK

* Route E overpass at Interstate 55 about 14 miles north of Cape Girardeau. Bypass is open to traffic, but the speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph. Workers are removing existing Route E. Minimal delays are expected, and there are no width restrictions.

* Route 74 less than 1,000 feet east of Interstate 55. Cape Girardeau traffic has been rerouted from the mainline of Route 74 just east of Interstate 55 near the Dutchtown exit to a temporary bypass bridge. The bypass will remain in use until mid-March. Bridge work is in progress.
