Road work will reduce lanes on two area roads this week.
U.S. 61 in Jackson will be reduced to one lane while a contractor resurfaces the road, according to a MoDOT news release.
Work will take place at night -- 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. -- starting Wednesday and continuing through Saturday, from Route D to the Highway 34/72 interchange.
Some streets in the area may be temporarily closed and limited to local traffic only.
Route K in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane today through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, while MoDOT crews repair a bridge.
The work zones will be marked with signs.
