Route JJ in Bollinger County, between Highway 51 and County Road 350, will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews make pavement repairs. The work will take place Monday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to a MoDOT news release.

Eastbound Highway 34/72 in Cape County reduced for railroad repairs

Eastbound Highway 34/72 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews make repairs to a railroad crossing in Jackson. The crossing is at the intersection of Highway 34/72 and U.S. 61 and Highway 25. According to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, various lane closures will be performed from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Pavement work reduces Route U in Cape County

Route U in Cape Girardeau County, between Route N to Highway 34, will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews make repairs to the pavement. A MoDOT news release says the work will be done Monday and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

All work is weather permitting. Work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near those areas. For more information about these projects, contact MoDOT's Customer Service Center at 888-275-6636, or visit modot.org/southeast.
