Campbell bridge closed pending inspections

The Highway 53 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks in Campbell, Missouri, will be closed until further notice as a precautionary measure. A news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation said excess movement was noted in the bridge during a routine inspection. Additional inspections began Thursday. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Route CC in Stoddard County closed for pavement work

Route CC in Stoddard County, from Route HH to Highway 114, will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. The work will take place today through Wednesday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, according to a MoDOT news release.
