ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Today's road closings:

* Delays are expected on Themis Street from Frederick to Pacific streets for curb and gutter repair work.

* Delays are expected on Frederick from Broadway to William for curb and gutter repairs.

Anticipated closings next week:

* Themis Street from Frederick to Pacific streets could be closed next week for asphalt overlay. The preparations for that work could cause traffic delays.

* Frederick from Broadway to William streets will be closed for asphalt overlay next week. Delays are expected while the road is prepared and curb and gutter work finished.

* Traffic on Good Hope from Frederick to Sprigg Street will be delayed while the road is prepared for overlay. It will likely be closed by the week's end.

Ongoing projects:

* Broadway will be closed to eastbound traffic between Clark and Caruthers avenues. Traffic will be detoured to Thilenius. Various other street intersections along Broadway from Clark to Perry may be closed periodically for utility construction. Detour routes will be posted.

* Gordonville Road from Edgewood to St. Francis Drive will be closed for the next three to four weeks to allow for construction of Silver Springs extension. A new access route to the St. Francis Medical Center is available from the completed portion of the new Silver Springs Road.
