ROAD ALERT: Work impacts Highway 61, Route CC

Sections of two local roads will be reduced to one lane by MoDOT work Wednesday and Thursday.

A section of Route CC from Route C to the end of state maintenance on Route CC will be reduced to one lane from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday as crews seal the pavement.

Route 61 will be reduced to one lane at its intersection with Route D from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday while the roadway is patched.

The work zones will be marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while driving in the area.
