RIVERSIDE REGIONAL LIBRARY EXTENDS HOURS

Jeff Roth, director of Riverside Regional Library, has announced the library will extend its hours to better serve the patrons in our community.

Beginning Nov. 1, the Central Center in Jackson will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

In today's society many working adults are unable to visit the library until after work.

Schoolchildren are often busy with after-school activities and are unable to visit the library until after 5 p.m., Roth said.

He added that he wanted patrons to have ample time to use the library and by staying open until 6 week nights should make that possible.
