The Riverside Library at 204 S. Union will offer the reading program Places to Go for pre-readers and preschoolers by having parents, siblings and others read to them.
Children can also participate in the Summer Reading Program even if they can't come to Story Time programs, but they must register, read books, turn in reading book logs and follow the guidelines.
There is a July 24 deadline for the program.
Some incentives include certificates, food coupons, stickers, pencils, paperback reading book and bookmarks.
Incentive packets can be picked up at the library's circulation desk.
For children 9 and older, there is the Book Your Summer program that encourages young adults to read books.
