Riverfest `92 will include a display of working crafts demonstrations during the annual downtown event June 12 and 13.

"There will be something interesting for all ages to watch," said Greg Macke, chairman of the working crafts activities. "It will range from basket weavers to yarn weavers, with a leathersmith, painter, potter, spinners and woodcarvers."

There will also be a flintknapping demonstration, which involves the art of chipping arrowhead from stone. Some items will be for sale.

The working crafts demonstrations will be located on the courthouse lawn in downtown Cape Girardeau. General hours will be 3-9 p.m. on June 12 and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on June 13.
