RIVER CITY PLAYERS HOLD TRYOUTS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- River City Players will have open auditions for the November dinner theater production of "Having Our Say" by Emily Mann Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at Rea Optical, 1105 Broadway (across from Houck Fieldhouse) at 1 p.m.

Two daughters of a minister born in slavery and a brilliant woman of mixed ancestry review important events in their lives as they reach 100 years of age, according to Ann Swanson, treasurer of the RCP. A cast of two women is required. Show dates are Nov. 10,11, 16, 17 and 18, at the River City Yacht Club above Port Cape Restaurant.

Entree choices include catfish on Fridays, marinated chicken breasts or prime rib. Reservations for show dates are strongly suggested.
