RICHLAND SCHOOLS TO HOLD HARVEST CELEBRATION

ESSEX -- Richland public schools will host several beauty pageants in conjunction with its Harvest Celebration Oct. 14.

Proceeds from the events will be used for the junior and senior prom at the school.

Pageants begin at 9:30 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Contestants should arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Age divisions for entrants are 0-18 years. A photogenic class is optional.

Entry fees are $20 for preregistration and $25 on the day of the pageant. Preregistration deadline is Oct. 11. All entry forms should be mailed to the Richland Junior Class; P.O. Box 8; Essex, Mo. 63846.

There will be a $3 admission charge for adults and $2 for children.
