SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to improve Highway 34 in Bollinger County to add shoulders and curve corrections is nearing completion, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release. A ribbon cutting to celebrate safety improvements in this area will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 17 at Woodland School.

The project included resurfacing, adding shoulders and curve corrections from 1.6 miles east of Route DD to 0.5 miles west of Route ZZ near Glenallen, Mo.
