OAK RIDGE -- Incumbents Jeff Hahs and Jerry Schreiner were among three candidates who where elected to the Oak Ridge Board of Education Tuesday.
Jacqueline Ludwig of Oak Ridge, a retired school teacher, led the school board balloting. She received 159 votes, or about 31.3 percent of the ballots cast.
Hahs, of Oak Ridge, president of the school board, received 138 votes and Schreiner, also of Oak Ridge and vice president of the board, collected 115 votes.
Other candidates and their totals were: Judy Abrisz of Old Appleton, with 47 votes, and Kenneth Green of Pocahontas, with 47 votes.
Ludwig, who was competing for her first term on the board, taught at Oak Ridge for 36 years.
Hahs, a sales representative in the construction industry, was elected for his fourth straight term on the board.
Schreiner works at Procter and Gamble Co.
