CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Royal N'Orleans Restaurant, which has been closed almost a year following a fire in March 1990, will reopen next week.
"The restaurant will open Monday," said a spokesman from DeJoy, Inc. "But, a reservations-only policy will be in effect for the first week, until Feb. 25."
The Royal N' Orleans, which was acquired by Dennis Stockard, of DeJoy's Inc. in July of 1987, is located in the Old Opera House, a historic building at the corner of Broadway and Lorimier.
The building was heavily damaged by fire on March 8, but has been completely renovated.
Although reservations are suggested, the restaurant will be open walk-in traffic Feb. 25.
