The downtown Port Cape Girardeau, 19 N. Water, will change its hours of operation in March.
Dennis "Doc" Cain, owner of Port Cape and Port Cape West, announced the new hours this week.
"The downtown restaurant will open at 5 p.m. each day Tuesday through Sunday," he said. "It will close at 9 p.m. except for Friday and Saturday when it closes at 10 p.m. The restaurant will close each Monday."
Waterstreet Lounge at Port Cape will continue to open every day at 4 p.m.
Cain said Port Cape West at West Park Mall will continue to be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
"We want to concentrate more on our dinner business by offering additional menu items, customer promotions and upgrade service," said Cain. "We'll be devoting more time to our growing catering and banquet business and the River City Yacht Club."
Cain explained that the administrative staff will continue to be at the restaurant during the day to handle catering calls and routine business.
"The Port will also be available for private luncheons, caterings and banquets during the closed hours," added Cain.
