Republican women to host Adrienne Ross

The Cape Girardeau County Republican Women's Club will host Adrienne Ross at noon today at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 236 Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau.

The program, titled "The Power of an Impassioned Woman," will cover topics such as the uniqueness of women, women's roles in politics, family, the nation and the world, as well as "tools to remaining hopeful in the midst of seemingly hopeless times," a news release from the club stated.

Ross is a speaker, coach, writer, editor, small business owner and teacher. She's also a member of the Southeast Missourian's editorial board. She has appeared on Fox News and has written speeches "for relevant politicians of our day," the release stated.
