JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is coming back to Missouri.
Palin has scheduled a Thursday morning campaign event in Cape Girardeau. It will be the second visit to the state in a week for John McCain's running mate.
Last Friday, Palin held a rally in Springfield and dropped the puck at the opening of a St. Louis Blues hockey game.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said he also expects to make another stop in Missouri before the Nov. 4 election.
A new poll conducted for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and television station KMOV shows Obama and McCain about even in Missouri.
