REPUBLIC, Mo. -- A Republic police officer resigned Thursday after being charged with sexually assaulting three Greene County boys.
Patrolman Jerry Davis was charged with four sodomy counts, sexual misconduct and attempted child molestation, prosecutors said.
Davis worked for the city since 1995, first as a public assistance officer and as a policeman. He had been on administrative leave since the allegations this month.
