Repairs to reduce Emerson Bridge
Routine maintenance by Missouri Department of Transportation crews will reduce the Mississippi River bridge between Cape Girardeau and Illinois to one lane Oct. 11 to 14. Weather permitting, east- and westbound Highway 34/74 will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs.
