Labyrinth at First Christian Church, open to public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. No admission charge.

Bible Times Pumpkin Village opens at First Christian Church in Anna, Ill. Ten characters from the Old Testament, each made of pumpkins, will be displayed. A contest will be held to match names of the characters with Scripture. Winners will be selected Oct. 21 and will receive free-pizza coupons. Members of the church are ineligible. Gospel singing at 7 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Villa Ridge, Ill. Victory Trio of Carterville and The Gloryroad Travelers of Mounds, Ill., will perform.

Fall revival services at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins, Mo. Evangelist is the Rev. Cy Smith. A potluck dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m.

Special worship at 11 a.m. at Lutheran Chapel of Hope for Family Day weekend. The Rev. David Dissen will lead the service. A dinner will be served following the service. Students also are invited to a Wednesday noon Bible study at the student center in the chapel.

Prayer service at 2:30 p.m. at Cemetery of the Innocents off Siemers Drive in Cape Girardeau. The event is sponsored by the SEMO Life Savers and Voice for Life.

Monday

Women's Abundant Life prayer group will meet at 9 a.m. at Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau. Speaker is Leslie Essner, a mother of five and member of First Assembly of God Church.

Gospel meeting at 7 p.m. at Jackson Church of Christ in Jackson, Mo. Speaker is Bryan McAlister.

Fall revival services continue this week at 7 p.m. at Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins, Mo. Evangelist is the Rev. Cy Smith.

Don Wharton, Christian singer and songwriter, will perform at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. The event is free. An offering will be collected to help support Wharton's ministry. Fellowship will follow the concert. Wharton has produced 14 albums. His latest release is "The Faith of A Child."

Tuesday

Fall rally at 10 a.m. for Jackson/Bootheel zone hosted by Ladies Aid of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, Mo. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the meeting. Guest speaker is the Rev. David Johnson of St. Paul Church, who will talk about the Lutheran mission in Haiti.

Wednesday

Wonderful Wednesday program at 5:45 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Events and activities are planned and a meal will follow. A nursery is provided for children under 5.
