Latin Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Old St. Vincent's Church in downtown Cape Girardeau. Monsignor Richard Rolwing, formerly priest at St. Mary's Cathderal, will conduct the service. The event is being held in conjunction with Lewis and Clark bicentennial activities.

Celebration service at 9:30 a.m. in the activity center at First General Baptist Church in Jackson. The congregation is ending its "40 Days of Purpose" campaign with a single service. The church also will participate in a note-burning and groundbreaking ceremony. For information, call 243-8467.

Southern Brothers in concert at 10:30 a.m. worship and 1:30 p.m. concert at Unity Baptist Church in Benton. The church is celebrating its annual harvest day.

Thanksgiving service for Jackson community at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes as speaker. The service is sponsored by the Jackson Ministerial Alliance; worshippers are asked to bring a canned good that will be donated to the city's food pantry.
