Gospel singing at 7 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Villa Ridge, Ill., featuring Potter's Clay of Mayfield, Ky., and The Gloryland Travelers of Mounds, Ill.

Tuesday

Community noon worship at Freedom Rock Youth Center hosted by Fred Poston, pastor of New Plymouth Community Church. The informal service will conclude by 1 p.m.

Centenary United Methodist Women meet at noon for a catered lunch in the lobby of the Family Life Center at the church. Reservations are requested. The executive committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. in room 251 at the church. Martha Maxton will preside over a business session after the luncheon. Dorothy March will give a devotion. Dick Giles will speak about Islam and the Quran.

Thursday

Cape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club reservations due for Monday meeting. Call Pat Renner at 334-1673 for lunch or child-care reservations. Speaker for the meeting will be Marti Sittser of Chesterfield, Mo., with music by Mike Smith. Cost of meal is $8.75 per person.
