Religion calendar 1/11/03

SundayHeaven seminar at Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau with speaker Fred Overton of Atlanta. Sessions will be at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Child care is provided.

The EBE (Excelling by Example) Crew, a Christian music group from Columbus, Ohio, will perform at 6 p.m. at Christ Church of the Heartland. Doors open at 5 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Jackson hosts a CD release concert at 7 p.m. for Robyn Hosp. Her new CD is titled "Joy in the Journey."

The Rivermen Quartet will perform in concert at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Millersville. The group's members are Bruce Marrs, Charlie Brown, Stephen Daume and Doug Thornton and began singing at First Baptist Church in Jackson.

MondayCape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club meeting at noon at Holiday Inn in Cape Girardeau. Speaker is Cyndi Crowl of Collierville, Tenn.

Thursday

The New Hinsons, a gospel group, will perform at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Church. No admission charge but a love offering will be taken. For information, call 335-4456.
