Ladies Evening Out event planned for May 3-5
The House of Prayer Outreach Mission is celebrating its seventh annual Ladies Evening Out/Exhale Plus conference.
Guest speakers for the May 3-5 event are pastor Mary Wiggins of Atlanta, Ga., evangelist Ruby Jennings of Clarksville, Tenn., pastor Gail Hundlley of Sikeston, Mo., and pastor Jo Ann McCauley of Cape Girardeau.
Special music will be presented by Gail McEwen of Paducah, Ky., the Church Boys of Cape Girardeau, the Exhale Mass Choir and the Ware Sisters.
The conference begins at 7 p.m. May 3 at Greater Dimension Church of God in Christ. Tickets are needed for the Exhale luncheon at 10:30 a.m. May 4 at the House of Prayer and for the Exhale Moment at Drury Lodge at 4 p.m. May 5. A Tranquili-Tea will be held at 7 p.m. April 27 at the House of Prayer. Cost is $35 for the Exhale Moment and $20 each for the tea or luncheon.

Churches to co-host women's conference
St. Andrew Lutheran Church and Cape Bible Chapel are co-hosting a women's conference with guest speaker Becky Tirabassi April 27. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. and will be held at Cape Bible Chapel.
Tirabassi is a motivational speaker and will offer practical tools for helping women balance their lives. She is an author, fitness instructor and CEO of Becky Tirabassi Change Your Life Inc.

Tickets offered to several Day of Prayer events
Tickets are available for the Evening with the Mayors May 1 at the Osage Community Centre. The event is a kick-off for National Day of Prayer services in the area and both Cape Girardeau and Jackson mayors are involved. Some light refreshments will be served.
The evening service begins at 6:45 p.m. and an area-wide youth rally will be held at 7 at Freedom Rock. Speaker for the evening service is Jennifer Kennedy Dean, an author and speaker from Blue Springs, Mo.
A noon prayer service will be held at the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse in Jackson, Mo., May 2. The rain-out location is First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
As part of the National Day of Prayer observance, volunteers are needed to participate in the Pray It Forward campaign. Volunteers can pray and read Scripture at several area sites, including hospitals, government offices, schools, parks and businesses. A student Pray It Forward service is being organized for 7 a.m. at Jackson High School.

A prayer service is being planned for 7 p.m. May 2 at the Leona Burst Civic Center in Ullin, Ill. The service is sponsored by the Egyptian School Prayer Group and Community Prayer Partners.
