The Video Cafe at La Croix United Methodist Church is expanding to accommodate more people in worship. The video cafe offers the worship service via a video feed with a casual atmosphere and refreshments. The cafe service is offered on Saturday nights and at 11 a.m. each Sunday.

Westminster Church to show 'Gospel of John'

Westminster Presbyterian Church will show the film "The Gospel of John" in two parts this weekend at the church. The viewing will be at 6:30 p.m. tonight and Sunday at the church. Prior to the show tonight, the youths will hold a dinner to raise money for their trip to Colorado this summer. Donations for the meal are requested. For information, call the church at 334-4344.

Churches to hold film series on race relations

The Downtown Council of Churches, Catholic Campus Ministry and several university and community organizations are joining together to continue a dialogue on race and civil rights. A three-part film series will be shown: "The Difference Between Us," at 6 p.m. Sunday at Centenary United Methodist Church. "The Story We Tell," at noon Feb. 25 in Crisp Hall on campus and at 6 p.m. Feb. 29 at First Baptist Church. "The House We Live In," at noon March 24 at Crisp Hall and at 6 p.m. March 28 at Christ Episcopal Church. There is no charge.

Handbell choir to perform at Zion United Methodist

The handbell choir of William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., will perform during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Feb. 15 at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville.

Fruitland Church to offer budgeting course

Fruitland Community Church will offer a satellite course on financial goals and budgeting. The course is from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 21. Cost is $15 and includes a book and lunch. For information, call the church at 204-0724.

Women's retreat sponsored by Hanover
