ANNA, Ill. -- Gene Reineke, director of the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, will be speaker at the annual Union County Republican Lincoln Dinner to be held Saturday at the Sunshine Inn Community Center in Anna.
A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a tribute to the U.S. troops serving in the Persian Gulf.

Reineke, of Springfield, was director of personnel in Gov. James Thompson's administration prior to being appointed to his present position in July 1989. He is the executive director of the Illinois Republican State Central Committee and executive director of Citizens for Edgar.
He has a master's degree in political science from Boston College and bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola University in Chicago.
Reineke and his wife, Janice, are parents of four children.
