Reiminger says he's seeking job as Jackson mayor

Dave Reiminger announced Tuesday his candidacy for mayor of Jackson on the April ballot.

He has served on the Board of Aldermen for 14 years and is the power and light committee chairman. Reiminger has been a lifelong resident of Jackson and is the president of Overhead Door Company of Southeast Missouri.

Alderwoman Barbara Lohr announced last week that she is also seeking the mayor's seat.

Current Mayor Paul Sander announced he would not seek re-election during his campaign for county clerk in July. Sander has been Jackson's mayor for the last 14 years.
