Two injured in I-55 accident near Benton

BENTON, Mo. -- Two people sustained moderate injuries early Saturday morning after a one-vehicle accident about 2 miles south of Benton. Ruthie Frizeel, 62, and Sammy Frizell, 55, of Waterloo, Iowa, were driving on Interstate 55 when their vehicle ran off the road and overturned in the median. Both were taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
