Cape man pleads guilty, receives probation

An accused peeping Tom was placed on probation Tuesday and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service. Brian T. Isaac, 33, of 2300 Jane Drive, entered a guilty plea to attempted invasion of privacy. He was accused of peeking through a hole in the wall between Tans-R-Us, 91 S. Plaza Way, and Hibbett Sports, 2136 William St., on April 19 while a female patron of the tanning salon was undressing. He was originally charged with invasion of privacy, but that charge was amended in exchange for his plea. Associate Circuit Judge Scott Thomsen sentenced Isaac to two years' probation and ordered him to perform 40 hours of community service. Until the community service is completed, Isaac will remain on supervised probation, the judge ruled.

Charges filed against three in Sikeston

BENTON, Mo. -- Three Sikeston, Mo., residents were arrested Monday night following the discovery of cash and drugs. Lloyd Gilmore, 25, Tambra Gilmore, 28, and Jerry Fletcher, 20, were all charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to a Scott County Sheriff's Department news release. Deputies and Sikeston authorities arrived at a home looking for Fletcher on outstanding warrants when Lloyd Gilmore began scuffling with the officers, the release stated. He was arrested after a brief foot chase. A search later yielded more than 60 grams of marijuana and $6,000 in cash, according to the release.
