The American Red Cross will hold wilderness first aid and rescue training from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13 and 14. The training sessions will be held at its office at 2430 Myra Drive in Cape Girardeau. Topics to be covered will include head, brain, neck and spinal injuries; heat-related emergencies and hypothermia; allergies and anaphylaxis; and burns, wounds and infections.
