RED CROSS TO HOLD TWO BLOOD DRIVES NEXT WEEK

The American Red Cross will hold two blood drives next week.

The Red Cross is hosting blood drives at the following places:

-- Monday, Delta High School, 1-5:30 p.m.;

-- Tuesday-Thursday, University Center Ballroom at Southeast Missouri State University, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. each day.

The Red Cross said blood donors are in short supply around the holidays.

To be eligible to give blood, potential donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be at least 17, and be in good health. Donors should have their driver's licenses for identification.
