Red Cross schedules area blood drives

The Red Cross has scheduled several blood donation opportunities in the area in February. People of all types and ethnicities are encouraged to donate. Appointments to give blood aren't necessary but may be made by calling 1-800-733-2767 or visiting redcrossblood.org.

Bollinger County

* From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Leopold Elementary School, 100 Main St. in Leopold, Mo.

* From 2 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Meadow Heights High School, Highway 72 in Patton, Mo.

Cape Girardeau County

* From 2 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at St. Vincent de Paul Grade School, 1919 Ritter in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Perry County

* From 2 to 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8201 Main St. in Altenburg, Mo.

Scott County
